Sometimes life gets busy, chaotic, and overwhelming with our day-to-day tasks. When this happens we often lose sight of what is important, but then something happens to remind us of exactly what matters. What are those important things? Family, friends, connections, giving back and making a difference in someone’s life.
I was reminded of what is most important at the recent unveiling of the Coldwell Banker Foundation Green Room at the Ronald McDonald House in Eastern Wisconsin. This amazing room allows parents to relax, watch their children play or participate in art therapy, meet new friends, enjoy a cup of coffee and so much more. Ultimately it gives families going through an extremely difficult time to connect, to rejuvenate, to be together.
Our Wisconsin region agents and employees have made this room a reality. They have raised money, volunteered, contributed, and so much more. Thank you for reminding me and so many others to cherish what is most important.
P.S. The entire Wisconsin RMHC house expansion is well on its way and by the end of next summer will be double its size! We are so proud to be a part of this amazing project! For updates, follow the Coldwell Banker Charitable Foundation on Facebook.
