In 5 years our Foundation has raised over $600,000 for local housing-related charities! Those funds have helped the homeless, victims of domestic abuse, runaway teens, military servicemen and women, ill children and their families, and so many more people in need. I am extremely proud of everything you do to make a difference.
September is our annual Foundation Awareness Month. It’s a time to give special attention to our partners – learn who they are and what they do, volunteer, or organize a fundraiser.
Make a donation. Go to GiveHousing.com and click on the Donate button to make an online donation. Or, you can write a check to the Coldwell Banker Foundation and send to Amy Eiduke at the home office.
In addition to all of these activities, we have three exciting announcements.
- The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern Wisconsin is undergoing an expansion and remodeling project that will add 37 new guest rooms and provide updates throughout the house. We are sponsoring the ‘Coldwell Banker Family Atrium,’ a space where parents can relax or work as their children enjoy the neighboring playroom or participate in art therapy. Our pledge is for $25,000 over the next four years.
- Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Chicagoland & Northwest Indiana is building a new house near Central DuPage Hospital and our Foundation is once again sponsoring the Toy Room. We have pledged $50,000 to be donated over the next five years.
- Lastly, we have added a new charitable partner – Special Spaces. Special Spaces creates dream bedrooms for children with life-threatening medical illnesses. They believe, and we agree, that a child should be able to go to a special place in their home that provides them peace and comfort.
A complete list of our 28 partners is below. You can learn more about each of these organizations on GiveHousing.com. Thank you for all that you do to help those in need.
