“What do you want to be when you grow up?” It’s a question eternally asked of small children everywhere. The usual responses might be fireman, ballerina, or baseball player; have you ever thought a child might reply with “real estate agent?”

Well, after spending time playing and in The Real Estate Office, an exciting exhibit that’s back at the Betty Brinn Children’s Museum a child may just add real estate agent to their list.

The Real Estate Office, presented by Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, gives children the opportunity to role-play as the real estate agent or the homebuyer and help find the perfect “home sweet home.” This tiny real estate office features pretend tools of the trade, including listings, a neighborhood map with coordinating properties for sale, a telephone and of course a For Sale sign.

The exhibit in the museum’s Home Town exhibit area, which provides a fun environment BettyBrinn1for children to learn and play while exploring different “real world” businesses and how these businesses – and the people who work in them – make a community work.

The Real Estate Office will be open from January 4th to March 26th of this year. http://metromilwaukeeliving.com/?p=2472

It’s incredible fun to watch little children learn about the home buying process and what a great way for us to promote what a wonderful career real estate is!

Every real estate agent who works with young families knows the importance of including young children in the process of buying or selling a home and this sponsorship has been such a fun way to to just that. And who knows maybe it will inspire some future real agents professionals!

Happy Sales start with happy play!
