In real estate, it’s always important to look at the plan. If you have to ask “What plan?”, then it is definitely time to get to work. You are your own business and the success or failure of that business is up to you and the strategic decisions you will make over the coming months.
The plan should focus on how you will cultivate your past business and referrals, and where new sources of business will come from. Will you work harder than ever to convert online leads from your website and third party sites such as Trulia or Zillow? Are you looking at new social networks (digital or “analog”) to forge potential connections? What is your strategy for turning all of those renters into buyers? Are you working on ways to cultivate and place outgoing referrals?
These are all questions that you should be working on in formulating how you will take your business to new heights. Having a plan with goals and what tools/tech/actions you will take or use in accomplishing those goals keeps you on the right path throughout the year and fulfill your dream. Remember, it’s all in the details.
